Yuehua Zhang, Ph.D.
Dr. Zhang has extensive experience in U.S./China joint educational programs, starting in 1997 with the Lutheran Colleges and China Consortium, through Hangzhou University in Hangzhou. She now works as the Chinese Language Program Coordinator at Shanghai American School in Shanghai, China. Her primary responsibilities are in the areas of professional development of teachers of Chinese language and Chinese Language curriculum design. She has been the major organizer and one of the presenters for ACAMIS summer institutes to provide training opportunities for Chinese language teachers from international schools all over East Asia. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, Shanghainese, and her own local Ningbo dialect.
